The BWTechShow is a web series that brings more exposure to the region of Maryland, DC, N.VA tech companies, people and tech culture.

This show will:
1. uncover and expose some of the hottest talent in the area
2. go behind-the-scenes to give you access into the companies where the talent exists showing you the culture and their digs
3. help you learn how to solve real-world business problems through case studies of the companies we visit

How is this show different?
3 things:
1. Quality production - we will be shooting all video in full HD so you can watch on the web or on your big flat screen tv (no shaky, low-quality handycam here, we have top quality videographers, some have shot video for networks like the Travel channel & Discovery)
2. Organic - our approach to shooting video is authentic and organic, meaning we focus on the content not a over-produced script and tons of fancy editing, this isn't your traditional news-style tv show
3. Crowd-sourced production - you play an active role as Asst. Producer, the show follows what the community asks to see not some board room of editors.

Ultimately, the show is produced by YOU, not a team of corporate editors! We want the viewers to tell us what companies and people we should cover. We also want the community to tell us what questions you would like answered. So unlike other tv outlets where the content is dictated to you, we choose to go with a bottom-up, community-based, crowd-sourcing model where you tell us what you want to see and hear and we act as your guide.

Why do a show like this? Because there is a major need for video coverage of tech businesses, people and tech culture in the MD/DC/VA area. None of the major media "video/tv" outlets focus VIDEO coverage on tech news, tech culture and innovation that is happening in this region. We want to change that reality and help to show-off and brand the tech innovation and entrepreneurial spirit that's happening in this region!

Many people talk about and associate technology with places like Silicon Valley, Silicon Alley and the Research Triangle but there are so many more "centers of tech innovation" happening and this show is our way of exposing the best tech people, companies, solutions, innovation and tech culture we have in this region.
